Krishak+ (“we”, “the app”) helps farmers and agri-businesses manage their farm, equipment, crops, livestock, and find verified agro-input information. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.

Information we collect

Account: your name, phone number, optional email, business name, language, and (if provided) village/district.
Farm data you enter: lands, soil/irrigation, crops, livestock, machines, expenses, income, customers, workers, and partnerships.
Photos/documents you upload (e.g. product or crop photos, certificates).
Location: with your permission, your device location is used once to show local weather and mandi prices. It is not tracked continuously.
Usage needed to run the service (sign-in, basic logs).

How we use it

To provide the features you use — accounting, recommendations, weather, mandi prices, invoices.
To suggest relevant crop medicines from verified companies based on your crop, district and (if you choose) your land’s soil/irrigation.
To contact you about your account (e.g. password reset, approvals).

Service providers we use

We rely on a few trusted services to operate: secure cloud storage for your photos/PDFs (Wasabi), a weather data source (Open-Meteo), Government of India mandi data (data.gov.in/Agmarknet), an AI model for the advisor (Google Gemini), email delivery (SMTP), and, where applicable, payments (Razorpay) and WhatsApp messaging (Meta). They process data only to provide their function.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. Agro-input companies on the platform see only their own products, stores and the contact requests farmers make to them — never your private farm accounts. We may share information if required by law.

Your choices & rights

You can view and edit your data anytime in the app.
You can delete your account from Settings; this removes your business data from our systems.
You can deny location permission; only weather/mandi convenience is affected.

Data security & retention

Passwords are stored hashed; access is restricted to your account. We keep your data while your account is active and delete it on account deletion (some records may be retained briefly where the law requires).

Children

The app is intended for adults running a farm or agri-business.
